The sensor is a skin temp.probe #68 209 70 from Hill-Rom Company (Air-Shields) Is it comparable to this? It seems they are the same with some difference in linearity and range,The Hill-Rom range is from 20-40 celsius degree And it's curve is more linear than MLT409 Sensor 1. The surface of sensor, is it galvanically isolated to signal wires and cable shield? Yes it is isolated from wires,But i don't know if it is isolated from shield too! 2. Is there a cable shield? I don't know but there is a mark in this probe that says it is Air-Shields,I don't know what do it means? 3. Sensor plus cable doesn't seem to be shielded enough against ESD. So, you would need an ESD protection at input of ADC. Something like cera diodes or transzorbs. You will also need a strong low pass filter at input of ADC (cell phone radiation!!). The sensor is between ground and adc-input,A 10k res is between adc-input and vcc,and there is a 10uF tantal between adc-input and ground. Is it enough? 4. Wouldn't it be advantageous to have more than only one skin temperature probe at the baby? when i attach 2 sensor, after 2 minutes i take temperature from both of them, they are equal always Best Wishes Mehdi |
