#116799 - measuring illumination by tsl220 |
hello.
i have to measure the illuminantion in the range of 1-1000uW/cm^2 with a tsl220. i have no idea how the code shall look like... my problem is that i've never worked with light to frequency converters before and to be honest i'm not that genius in programming. I have to get this porject work until wednesday so i'd be very happy over anyything that could help me to get this done qiuckly. i've found the data sheet and it says that its(tsl220) frequency may be measured by using pulse counting, period timing or.... further it says that the output voltage is a pulse train and its frequecy is proportional to the light intensity(irradiance) on the photodiode. by the way the tsl220 consists of a large-area photo diode and a current-to-frequency converter. i thought that this information could be helpul. please help me as quick as possible to get this done in time, i'd be really very very thankful. yours mike |
