unfortunately i've to use the 80c552. the point is that i've not the choice but it is necessary to measure with timer mode 2 in capture and compare logic. i've downloaded the cookbook, by the way there's a typing error, it can be found under coolbook in the links area. thx steve for your reply, i will study the cookbook and write again if anything is not clear.
by the way an initialing of timer2 in would be nice, i've really no idea how to initialise. i've set all interrupts but nothing else...
