Thank you all for your replays.
I will try and be more specific. All I want to do is be able to program a 8051 microcontroller at home. I want to build a board (by wire up) and "talk" with the board by using a PC. I only want to be able to program one type of chip. I am sure that it has been done in the past by many, I just hope that who ever build it already will be happy to share the design.
