#120472 - 80c51 style Micro with TI RFID reader IC Responding to: ???'s previous message |
A quick Google found this TI part
RI-R6C-001A http://www.ti.com/rfid/docs...C-001A.pdf http://www.ti.com/rfid/docs...001A.shtml Seems to have an SPI like interface. There is quite a bit of work to make an RFID reader... it's not just slapping an RFID chip/IC on a PCB. Do you need to do the complete RFID design including the RF part? Are you familar with the RFID protocols ISO15693 and ISO14443... these can be a little complex. Will you write in C or ASM.... often the C stack for the the IC and/or protocol is available to customer designing in volume product (>5k pcs)? Do you already have 80c51 experince ?... if not... then you have a bit of work ahead of you. Consider a micro with SPI interface siutable for your RFID IC. Joe.... (a little RFID experince) |
