Hi Eugene,

That's fine, but I would still recommend that you read the tutorials and understand what the ยต-controller is doing before you start writing HLL (High[er] Level Language) code for it. In many cases you will find it dead simpler to do something in assembly rather than C (for example, when writing a byte of data to the serial port), and other times not. But in either case, you really need to understand what the hardware is doing, and not just rely on the compiler to take care of it for you. We're a long way from wordprocessors, spreadsheets and CAD packages Toto! ;)

P.S. I would include links to the three chapters the make up what is referred to around here as "The Bible," but that's Erik's job. I don't want to step on his toes. ;)
