Have you checked the bus timing? What speed is the cpu you are using versus the speed of the cpu the code was written for? Tell us the bus timing values for this display and your cpu clock speed. Do you have pullup resistors on P0 data lines? How long is the cable to the display? Have you looked at the control signals on an oscilloscope? It could be any of the above issues, only when you've clarified these can you start to look at code problems. Then, how do you know if the code is working? What other checks have you done to test this? |
