The only modifications I did with the hardware was Dataport of LCD is now Port2 and the control signals have been derieved from Port0 which is having a pullup through 10k resistor array. The Port3 is used only for ISP / serial interface. The 89c51RD2 is running on 11.0592Mhz crystal and the timing for SED1335 is in nSecs so there is no possibility that the RD2 is sending data at a faster rate than that specified for SED1335. The Databus and the control signals have been verified with an oscilloscope. When I adjust the contrast pot of the LCD it shows a white screen and the pottential at pin3(VO) of the LCD module LG322401[320x240, 1/240 Mux| is -15.84V. But when i again bring it back to -8V as specified by EPSON the screen becomes blank. |
