while I am not quite familiar with LPC9xx series seems to indicate that you are familiar with other memebers of the '51 family, your ignorance as to interrupt overhead clearly show a lack of basic knowledge READ THE BIBLE

PS, If your resistance to reading "the bible" is religious, do not worry, "the bible" simply means the basic book, there is nothing 'religuous' about it unless you believe that some of us are religous about our approach to the '51 :)
