It's not only the relative price (compared to salary, for example) of those tools which is different.
The prices of devkits quoted are valid for USA and maybe Japan and maybe a few other countries. For example, the famous $99 SiLabs kit recommended by Erik on several ocassion was quoted for me for the equivalent of 150E on one ocassion by a distributor here. Jan Waclawek |
