So, you understand how the external memory interface on an 8051 works; you know when the /RD and /WR lines are asserted, in association with /PSEN, and the Address/Date bus.

From this, you should be able to work out how to generate suitable signals to feed the /IOR and /IOW inputs of your UART.

Where are you still stuck?
