#125258 - Emulating ISO7816 vs I2C in software Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Sorry I quoted the wrong MCU.
So I basically have 16 instructions to play around with per cycle to control the data port switching. Actually wouldn't that be more like 8 instructions since switching the SCL would have to be done twice per clock period? Sorry I meant 100kHz as per I2C standard mode. Anyway it seems like the MCUs that support ISO7816 cost more than those that support I2C. How feasible would it be to emulate ISO7816 in software rather than emulating I2C? |
