#125894 - How to remove noise from motorbike ignition ?
I have problem, I need your help.
I have designed Alarm for my motorbike. I use AT89C2051-24SI as the controller and AT24C02
as the memory to record the password (my alarm system use password to unlock system).
I use 78L05 to convert voltage from 12V ro 5V. I use single side PCB and designing of PCB
layout I follow application note of EMC Improvement Guidelines from Atmel. It's mean the Vcc trace
and Ground to the microcontroller I make as short as possible and Ground trace I make wider than
the other. near output 78L05 I put 1uF multilayer ceramic capacitor. Near with microcontroller
I put 2 pcs 1uF multilayer capacitor. Near with AT24C02 also I put 2 pcs 1uF ceramic multilayer capacitor.
I use 10uF/16V electrolyt Cap and 1KOhm resistor to reset the microcontroller.
For the clock I use 455Khz ceramic resonator.
My problem is:
After isntallation and start the motorbike engine (password necessary to key-in first), then
it run normally but sometime and often happen the program look like resetting and became error.
(I'm sure my program is correct because before engine start is normal, and my program and design is not
related with engine start). Could Anybody help me please?
