Your schematic doesn't look much like the original :-) The software could be modified to handle a 8048 pretty easy. IIRC, it's not just a software issue. The target chip pinouts are different, or maybe it was voltage levels, I don't remember. But the 875x and 874x targets required separate sockets. |
