#127579 - LCD's in cold weather |
We recently had a customer request a quote from us for a product that incorporates and LCD and has a temperature range down to -40C. It seems to me that the 'L' (liquid) in LCD will be 'S' (solid) at that temperature. Has anyone worked with heating strategies (maybe an LED backlight helps?) or alternatives (VFD) that might work at that temperature. Yes it will include an 8051.
