I remembered it wrong - it was electroluminescence, not plasma.
http://www.planarembedded.com/products/specs/ wide temperature range, high brightness, long lifetime. And ruggeddness - they have those military spec'd displays so I believe they also tried to smash them... Want more? One of my friends used them long long ago and the most important "feature" he still remembers very well was the pricetag... JW |
