Do you mean this Between both means 485TX---10nf----|Gnd and 485RX------10nf----|Gnd But I feel if we ground the shield to Earth at both the ends this would trigger ground loops , But kai says Galvanic Isolation is there this contradicts the above statement .And I feel grounding at both ends is benificial unless Galvanic Isolation is there for powersupply aswell .And we keep Circuit Gnd floating .
