I guess SADDR and SADEN are Special Function Registers and they cannot be accessed indirectly with a pointer. You must define them with sfr (or use the appropriate header file which already contains them).
I thought that, but who knows how the 'Acme' compiler defines SFRs and thus I did not react. It is so easy (for me) to read some code snippet and think "that is wrong" and then find out that the method is the one prescribed for some obscure compiler that the poster uses. So, Rogue it is time for revealing which compiler you use. Erik |
