IMHO, people who have English as a 2nd or 3rd language & who join this forum are making a commendable effort & should not be criticised for the way they write. Maybe I'm easier-going on this, living in a foreign country.

BTW, I was amused that it was my neighbour Henk who picked on the "u" (it's the polite form of "you" in Dutch, as in "hoe gaat het met U, Henk?" = "howya doin', Henk?").
