What do you mean by "interfacing with PC"?
Do you want to transfer some data? Or just signal something via a wire ("start blinking", for example, from PC to the '51)? If data, what sort of data? What speed, latency? etc.etc. Please be more specific with your question and you'll be amazed how much quality answer you'll get. As long as you ask only vague questions, you get vague answers.
