#131899 - more bizarre....
Responding to: ???'s previous message
I tought recently on a much more bizarre method of interfacing to PC (with regard to SPI-ISP programming, but it could be used generally, too, of course).

I though on what have the most PCs one can buy today in common?

USB, but that's too complicated.
VGA, but that's useless (and that "I2C" is maybe not too easy to use as said above).
CD, but that's useless, too.
Soundcard.... Well, most of the PCs do have one, and it has usually a stereo output (= 2 outputs) and often at least a mono input.

Now, there are two tasks. How to overcome the AC-only limitation, and how to program it in a reasonable way...
:-)
