i studied in the microprocessor book What microprocessor book? There must be thousands! 1.why intel 8085 microprocessor have not a powerful instruction set......? Why are you asking about the 8085 in an 8051/8052 forum? Why do you say it's "not a powerful instruction set"? What do you think it's lacking that would make it "a powerful instruction set"? I have no idea how many 8085s Intel sold in its lifetime, but I'm sure there were plenty of customers who found it sufficiently powerful for their requirements! And, of course, it was developed over 20 years ago - they didn't have the tools and technology then that we have now. Back then, it was considered powerful! 2.what is the limiting factor instruction set? is it due to less number of hardware components inside the architecture The more "powerful" it is, the more complicated it gets. That makes it harder (ie, more expensive) to design, to test, to make, and to use. There's also the question of electrical "power" - both power consumption and power disipation. Power disipation is a significant problem for "powerful" processors like moderm pentiums, et al... 3.The powerful instruction set, what they actually denoted........ I don't know - what do you mean by "powerful" in this context?! |
