After i read the link Erik provided, it states:
But If you write a '1' to a pin, it turns the open-drain driver OFF and so an external signal can take the pin either high or low - and the input can read the state of the external signal. Which means that when reset is held high, "1"'s are written, which means that the ports are setup as inputs, which means I can give them anything from 0 to 5V. |
