When the 8051 is in reset, all ports are inputs. No, that's not true. What she is try to say is that on reset, the I/O ports are set as inputs because they have "1"'s written to them. The ports are also outputs - but the output drivers are turned off! and according to the FAQ, when the output drivers are turned off, the ports are set up as inputs. |
