#134548 - GPIB Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Martin,
Are you planning on writing GPIB software to communicate with the 8051's via a PC? I've never tried anything like this myself, all of the GPIB stuff I've ever done is with Labview on the PC and off the shelf lab devices. If you want to network a PC to 3 8051 devices, try looking into a serial solution like RS-485. The GPIB seems to me to be a bit too ambitious, but I never tried it before so I can't say for sure. Have you found a decent description of the protocol yet? Good Luck Andy PS, on this forum, you will do a bit better if you use more descriptave Subject lines that "Help!!!":) |
