Joseph,

Just to make your colection of names of the same complete, are you aware that in the "eastern block" this was called "IMS-2" (ИMC-2 when written in cyrillic). The connectors were different, though, as the original connectors weren't - ehm - reproduced "locally" (many people used D-Sub's or FRBs as a substitute).

Nevertheless, this is a rather obsolete transmission link/protocol, isn't it.
