Hi Konrad,
if I understand you right, you want to measure the time during a switch was closed. So feed 20MHz into the clock input and also to the register clock to load the register after every count. The register can be read byte wise to get the counter values. With connecting the switch to the count enable input the counter count only during the switch was closed. But why you want to load the counter ? Since its easy to build the difference of new - old counter value in software. Peter |
