#135516 - OH boy Responding to: ???'s previous message |
you just opened up a can of worms with a post about self-modifying code.
My opinion: today you can buy speed cheaply enough not to use "self-modifying code", some years ago that was not the case. ANYHOW, we get these "can a bit be indirectly addressed" posts on a regular basis and my quoestion to Mariusz Sobkowiak is what is wrong with reading the manual Erik re manual, for this, read chapter 2 here are the links to "the bible" Chapter 1 - 80C51 Family Architecture: http://www.nxp.com/acrobat_d...ARCH_1.pdf Chapter 2 - 80C51 Family Programmer’s Guide and Instruction Set: http://www.nxp.com/acrobat_d...UIDE_1.pdf Chapter 3 - 80C51 Family Hardware Description: http://www.nxp.com/acrobat_d...WARE_1.pdf |
