you just opened up a can of worms with a post about self-modifying code.

My opinion: today you can buy speed cheaply enough not to use "self-modifying code", some years ago that was not the case.

ANYHOW, we get these "can a bit be indirectly addressed" posts on a regular basis and my quoestion to Mariusz Sobkowiak is what is wrong with reading the manual
