I used to do self modifying code back in the days of the National SC/MP. It was a pig, as you had to keep reloading the code via toggle switches. Jan, what you presented I would deem self-modifying code. Not a trick I'd normally use and I think I'd have to be up against a wall to use it. Besides, I'd probably be sacked for doing it. Nevertheless, a creative solution but I'd use the old index and mask method first up! |
