first, I have no idea what an xbox even looks like.
My guess is that he wants the remote to simulate 3 consequtive keypresses on the existing xbox remote, just because his fingers ar not nimble enough to do these 3 presses quick enough to win a game. so, why even break open the xbox remote and possibly leave it non-functional, or worse, dysfunctionl?. Detect the signal (infrared/RF/string or whatever) out of the remote and make a separate unit that issue these 3 signal as he wishes. There are threads about "how to build a remote" here and those should give enough info for a determined builder to design and build what I suggest. Erik |
