Could you write down the counter when you change the lamp or whatever? Then you don't need to reset it at all, just to keep the old number on some suitable place (maybe a sticker glued inside the device's box or something like that). I know it is not convenient but it is cheap and simple and working...
Alternatively, couldn't the supplier of the device provide you with a method to clear the counter, once you buy the spare lamps etc.? Jan Waclawek |
