... in this case, we can "tune" the program (provided it is open source or the author is willing to cooperate) to work with the "cable". After all, the cable should do at least partially what is promised on the box ("converts from USB to serial)... :-)
An example of HOW such "cable" does not work, is here (and I don't even need photographic memory, thanks to the searchbox it's enough if I remember how my own name and "prolific" is spelled :-) ). JW |
