For "burning" Atmel's Rx2's you can use FLIP, which comes also for Linux - see at Atmel's site.
All in all, a simple terminal emulator should suffice, although I know this is not easy for Linux. Have a look at Ian Bell's 8052.com homepage (User Pages in the left column), there are some hints there; and also I know Frieder Ferlemann develops for '51 under Linux, and I believe also more of the users here - so maybe you might want to search a little bit the archives of the Forum. But, how did you come to the conclusion that you certainly need 128kB FLASH? JW |
