#140070 - addition - show the full picture - 'edit' to above
Responding to: ???'s previous message
thought of this too late to edit my above post.

To give a complete picture "for teaching purposes" you should show a code for HW IIC as well. CodeArchitect, free from http://www.esacademy.com will give you a good start.

Please do not "for teaching purposes" stick to old, there is way too much of this. Some 'graduate' with the perception that if there is not an 8255 on the board it will never work.

There is nothing wrong, whatsoever, in teaching SW IIC but, PLEASE, do not create 'graduates' that think that is the cats meow or - even worse - THE ONE AND ONLY WAY to do it.
