#14019 - Power consumption of 80c552while in rese |
Hi,
I am wondering hom much power the philips 80c552 uses will the reset pin is high. I am designing a 80c552 based system and want it to retain RAM during powerfails. AFAIK the RAM is retained during reset, is this correct ? I would like to power the device down, but then I need to have the EPROM powered as wel. Any other ideas ? P.S. the idea is to keep the controller powered by a back-up battery. Thanks in advance, Marc |
