The 3 pulse method, on reset, will put the LPC900 parts in to ISP mode.
ISP mode needs a clock source... If the parts have been FLASH programmed to use an external clock source they will not run if you haven't got an external clock source (factory default is internal RC clock source). ICP is bruit force hardware programming and doesn't require a clock source. BUT more complex hardware is required to program LPC900 parts. ALSO another reason why ISP may not be working - might be that ISO code may be missing. Joe |
