#140306 - got new chips
Responding to: ???'s previous message
I got 37 new chips today
P89LPC935FA
A1039300--
YtG0704B
I already program 5 of them and everything is ok.
I'll follow Joe's advice and try FDI Programmer for ICP.
I'll keep the bad chips to "play" with them later on this summer
when i'll have time.
Maybe Eric is right about ESD.
Eric,Roberto, and Joe thanks again for your answers.

And an off-topic question.
This project is a solar-tracking control.
With P89LPC935 i control a motor to turn a fotocell
panel (12 fotocells in series, 33V-5A each) to folow the sun during day.
These fotocells are connected to an inverter to
produce 220V AC.(I have nothing to do with this).

I use a "baby" fotocell (20V 0.15 A) to charge my 12V battery
and get the duration of day-night to find sun positions.
Now my customer wants to "steal" power from one of the series fotocells instead of using the extra "baby" fotocell.
I'm afraid that there are safety(400V) and economy(need expencive special adaptors) reasons to NOT accept it.
The question is:If i get 0.15 A from the first of fotocells that means that i'll lose 0.15A from all fotocells(Kirchof's law)?
Any suggestion on how to convince him?

Lambros
