#140909 - discovered: RX and Tx are different baud Responding to: ???'s previous message |
So, Initially, I thought everything was running at 56K. Well this turns out to not be the case.. I guess the display runs at 56k, and the gps spits out data at 115k. dammit. ( but I did have that idea too)
I think the route to go, at this juncture, is to just get a SPI/I2C to UART bridge, and call it good. I am just disappointed that I have to throw more hardware at it. And the GPS is self-configured. upon powerup, it spits out NMEA... off to order the Bridge... |
