#141083 - however, if you buy Keil Responding to: ???'s previous message |
It's open-source and will be supported long after KEIL has disappeared and been forgotten.
however, if you buy Keil, you can demand help, if you go for SDCC, all you can do is ask and hope, Richard: Neither you nor I will see the demise of Keil. and should it happen, so what I have used it now for more than 5 years without finding a bug. As seen from numerous of your posts, I know that in your eyes any commercial enterprise, except yours, of course, is lying, deceiveng and cheating. I, however see most as 'reasonable', but then you, as often seen, is not happy with a tool that works without a hitch if they will not change it to fit your idiosyncharcies. Now, re Keil, is it perfect? hell no, but the e3ssential parts (assembler, compiler and linker) works without a hitch and those that consider the Idiotic Design Inteface (IDE) more important than the essentials should consider buying a broom.
