I believe that all 89C51 are pin to pin compatibles
they are, but the programming algorithm is not If you are going to program 89c51 chips which are supported by that device then whats problem? If you try to program a NXP chip with an Atmel algorithm you will not get it programmed. I do not recall which, but a while ago there was a case where a chip got totally unusable if attempted programmed with the wrong algorithm. The essence is that NOBODY can answer "how to program 89C51" some can answer e.g. "how to program P89C51" Erik |
