Dear all

I am using Cygnal CY8051F320 controller in my project and i am having problem with the serial communication. In the hardware design i am using RS485 for serial communication.If communicate with the PC, i am using RS485 converter which converts RS232 signals into RS485 signal. The problem is that if i connect the RS485 converter connection opposite with the RS485(e.g RX of RS485 converter with the Tx in the design & Tx of the RS485 Converter with the Rx in the hardware design) in the hardware than the hardware does not response because the connection is opposite but if i connect it in the right way without any reset the hardware than system will not work like the system hang. If i do reset the hardware and the connection of RS485 right than it works successfully. So i have problem that in any condition the system wont be hang. If anyone knows about that than please help me.. Its very urgent. Is this the controller want hardware reset if the connection got connected wrong or is problem in firmware that the system hang... So please help me..
