#142832 - Look closely at graphical LCDs. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Look very carefully at graphical LCDs. There are none that I know of that have direct controllers that work with I2C. The controllers themselves are parallel or SPI type serial. I2C at 100KHz or 400KHz is just too slow.
Any type of aftermarket add-on to a GLCD module that uses I2C as its interface will most likely be a thing that uses high level commands to draw characters from a in-built font or graphics drawing primatives. Michael Karas |
