I know that this what I say is completly strange.
But if you only want use this EEPROM as a buffer of 400 bytes, just use onother one line /BUSY in every controler to set simply control of use EEPROM. For example line /BUSY as pulled by resistor to VCC. If one controler will want to write/read EEPROM shoul test this line if it is "0" it will pause, if "1" just make write/read operation. Cost one pin , but you can still use simply I2c procedures without Multimaster I2C on twice controlers. |
