Passing parameters in External RAM? As a last resort, Or if you did not care how slow and bloated the project was.

Forcing the Compiler to do things that you would not do in ASM will just convince you that C is slow and bloated.

Forcing C to behave like a programmers own style would not be any better than trying to force one CPU to behave like another. maybe you could do it, but the results will not be optimal.
