#143939 - Aside: dB equivalent of voltage
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Gopal Amlekar said:
I am converting a voltage into its dB equivalent.

The Bel (and, hence, the dB) is a power ratio - so there is no such thing as the "dB equivalent" of a voltage as such.

To be meaningful, you have to state your reference, and your load impedance.
Of course, these may be implicit in your application...
