Hi Calix,
most programmers use the same programming algorithm for the AT89S8252 and the AT89S53. The AT89S53 has 12kB Flash size for program. But the AT89S8252 has only 8kB Flash and additional 2kB data EEPROM, which must be adressed in the same way as the upper 4kB Flash on the AT89S53. Thus, why all programmers, which I know, have no special EEPROM file input. Maybe other programmers exist, which accept separate EEPROM files and add then the offset of 2000h internally. Peter |
