from the datasheet:
Tx ENABLEN I/P A logic ‘0’ will enable the transmitter. A logic ‘1’ at this input If that language refer to a relay contact, then Consumer Microcircuirs Limited ( who now will start sending e-mails to nobody@noneofyourbusiness.com ) is a TOTALLY screwed up company, and, since they, evidently, are in business, I see no way they can be that totally screwed up. CONNECT Tx ENABLEN TO A uC PORT PIN (possibly through a level converter) and forget about a relay. You do not use a relay for the other inputs? do you? Erik |
