#145415 - I do not know about fully "drop-in compatible" Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Can anyone suggest a replacement for the Intel P80C51FA that can be purchesed? We need it in the 40 pin dip package and be drop-in compatible
If I recall correctly (check me) the FA is a "plain vanilla" '51/'52 with a PCA. I do not know about fully "drop-in compatible" and non-obsolete. If it is a for few replacement parts try a "partminer" If it is an ongoing project the Rx2 devices (NXP and, if you have to, Atmel) have the Intel PCA and would thus be "fairly" compatible, I'd guess all you had to add was a few SFR settings to make it a 12 clocker and set whatever memory access you need to be 'compatible" Erik |
