#14630 - RE: 2K Code vs 64kcode- Henk |
Hi Andy,
Of course there is a vested interest. :-) But I don't make anything from the free eval. But the topic begs for a better solution which AMRAI provides. The Keil 2K eval is purely that an eval. Reinhard knew that his eval would be difficult to use to force the evaluator into buying a $2K product. We are trying to get a bit of market share and so to introduce our products give away a free useful evaluation version. Our full packages range from $299 to $2495 and in many respects are better than Keil. BTW, I started Keil Software in 95 with Jon and worked at Franklin for 5 years before that. I know Keil's tools. So back to the question what can you do with a crippled 2 K compiler? Ignore it and get a functional 4 K compiler. :-) Bryan Whitton Andy Neil wrote: ------------------------------- Why bother, get the Raisonance Evaluation CD ... The manuals are included in pdf format Keil also includes their full manual set (plus App Notes, etc). Bryan Whitton American Raisonance No vested interest there, then ;-) |
