You mention TI0 and RI0 rather than TI and RI.
This implies for me that you are using a 2-UART '51 derivative. Beware, some of the derivatives might behave slightly differently than the "biblical" '51! Nevertheless, reading the hardware part of the "bible" is always a good idea; it indeed gives a surprisingly deep insight into the guts of the built-in UART. Note, that the moment when RI/TI is set is NOT always exactly AFTER the END of the stopbit. JW |
